Back on September 24th, 2011 the Flying Heritage Collection were coming to the end of their summer flying days at Paine Field in Everett, Washington. On these days they fly aircraft from the collection, often with guest aircraft from other nearby museums. This particular day they were flying the North American B-25J Mitchell bomber and ground attack aircraft that was widely used and highly successful in World War Two. It was ably joined by the Historic Flight Foundation B-25D Mitchell “Grumpy“. It was a great display and a fantastic way to finish off the flying days.
