Planes of Fame Airshow 2015 at Chino, California had plenty of aerobatics displays to entertain the crowd. Sean D. Tucker in his Team Oracle Pitts Special put on a great high and very low-level performance to get the crowd into the festivities. From ribbon cutting to whirling aerobatics he did it all!

He was joined by Rob Harrison The Tumbling Bear in his Zlin 142c for a fun aerobatic display. The Zlin 142c was originally a Czechoslovakian built training aircraft that were first introduced in 1970. At over 70 years of age, Rob has an interesting bio too: Engineer (he spent 28 years with the US Forest Service mostly in charge of the technical aspects of firefighting aircraft), Lawyer and Pilot (not only is he aerobatics certified, he also attended U.S. Navy Test Pilot School).

Up next, some jet aerobatics with the legendary Glay Lacy in his Learjet smoker. Clay Lacy has done it all from being an airline captain to an Air National Guard pilot, experimental test pilot, champion air racer (Reno and more), world record-setter (including flying a Learjet in 1965 from one coast of the US to the other and back again on the same day between sunrise and sunset – the first time this had been done in a business jet) and aviation business leader (he has also had a long association with Learjet). It is always great to see him flying a business jet like a fighter!

Planes of Fame 2015 sure had plenty of variety on the aerobatics front. They were lot of fun to watch! Up next will be the warbirds aerobatics displays.
