I can only assume that is what it is. Articles etc. only mention the underwing searchlights. I have never seen it lit up like that before! LikeLike
I just noticed the stars and bars symbol on the port wing. The USN just celebrated its aviation centennial–having several aircraft painted using the schemes from previous eras so this may be one of them. LikeLiked by 1 person

Yes it may be, although the new P-8’s seem to have the high viz stars and bars too.
