Technik Museum Speyer – NATO Tech
The Technik Museum Speyer in south-west Germany has a fantastic technology collection that includes aircraft, spacecraft, ships, submarines, cars and much more in both indoor and outdoor exhibits (it’s a big museum)! Part of the collection includes a number of NATO Cold War veteran aircraft, including those operated by what was then West Germany. Here you will see some classic fighter jets from the 1950’s through to the 1970’s and more!

The technik museum in Speyer is a sister museum to the nearby Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim (more on this museum in future posts). Both are easily accessible by car and public transport and well worth allocating a day to each! Up next I will show some of the former East German aircraft in the Speyer collection.
Excellent! Some unusual aircraft.

Great collection, I wonder if the RAF Hawker Hunter in black livery is from the former Black Arrows team?
