To me November 11th is known as Remembrance Day. In the USA it is Veterans Day. This special day marks the armistice that ceased the fighting of World War One on November 11th, 1918 and is a day to honour all those who have served their country in the military in peacetime and across all conflicts.
What better way to pay tribute to the men and women who served in the USAF than a USAF Heritage Flight conducted by the fifth generation air-superiority fighter of the day, the Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor of the Raptor Demo Team and it’s 1950’s contemporary the North American F-86 Sabre’s of the The Bremont Horsemen Aerobatic Team (unfortunately there was a problem with the third F-86 so it could not take part in the formation). This flight took place during Aviation Nation 2014 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada on November 8th, 2014.

Veterans of all nations, thankyou for your service. We salute you!
